The Missing Piece is an invitation to discover what is still missing in the city—not only in its physical structure, but also in everyday life, public space and human relationships. For the first time, Mood for Wood comes to Wrocław, offering participants a unique opportunity to explore the city with fresh eyes and identify places that can be transformed through thoughtful design.
Rather than asking what can simply be added, the workshop challenges participants to find what is needed to make a place more complete, inclusive and meaningful. Working closely with local communities, institutions and NGOs, students will create site-specific urban furniture that responds to real needs and strengthens the identity of each location.
Every project becomes the missing piece—a small intervention with the power to connect people, activate public spaces and reveal the hidden potential of Wrocław.
